We take a peek into a history that spans 500 years as we walk a guided tour through the village. Along the bay we stop for a visit at the gallery.

The historic walk starts at Gamlebutikken – the old shop – and offers a peek into a history that spans 5000 years. The walk includes a guided tour through the village and along the bay, a visit to the gallery, and a traditional drink at the end. As we stroll along, we share highlights and anecdotes from our local culture and traditions. An entertaining journey through ancient and recent history led by a knowledgeable guide.

Rent a bike

There are several cycle paths in and around Kalvåg, such as the lighthouse at Nesje, old Smørhamn trading town and the lookout point at Liseth.

Fishingtrip

We meet on the quay at Knutholmen before we unload and set course for the fishing field. Here it is possible with good and varied catch. You can get cod, pike, haddock, tusk, ling, catfish, halibut, crab and sea eel!
