The terms and conditions apply to all bookings made with us, including bookings via our websites and bookings made through a third party.

  1. Reservation
    Number of guests, price, accomodation, and other products and services that shall be provided by Knutholmen will be included in the email confirmation sent to the guest after making a reservation.

    All reservations require advance guarantee via company agreement, travel agent, or a credit card.

    Allocation of hotel rooms applies, unless otherwise agreed, from 15:00 on the day of arrival until 11:00 on the day of departure.
  2. Price and payment
    Agreed prices are binding for both parties. Knutholmen reserves the right to make adjustments to the prices as a result of increased costs when purchasing goods and services, increased taxes and fees or on other occasions beyond the hotel's control.

    We reserve the right to request payment in advance.

    The method of payment is agreed in advance and complete invoice information is sent to the hotel before arrival.

    Knutholmen Hotel accepts payment by card from the following credit card companies: Visa, MasterCard and Eurocard. This also applies to orders via our website.
  3. Cancellation
    Unless otherwise stated, the booking can be cancelled free of charge until 18:00 2 days before the day of arrival. If you do not show up and have not cancelled in advance, or you cancel after the cancellation deadline, the confirmed price will be charged in its entirety.
  4. Damage
    The guest is financially responsible for any damage caused to the hotel room, fixtures or other equipment.

  6. Force Majeure
    Events beyond Knutholmen's control, such as strikes, lock-outs and fires etc., give the hotel the right to cancel the booking without liability. Knutholmen will of course go as far as possible to find an alternative solution.
  7. Place of Jurisdiction
    All disputes that may arise between the parties to this agreement (the guest and the hotel) shall be governed by Norwegian law. If an amicable solution cannot be reached, the place of jurisdiction shall be at Knutholmen Hotel’s registered office.
